As the World Day of Prayer for Vocations approaches on 21 April 2024, the Perth Vocations Office encourages our community to be part of a day of reflection and celebration.
This day, also known as Good Shepherd Sunday, holds profound significance as it marks the 61st anniversary of the initiative, originally introduced by Saint Paul VI during the Second Vatican Council in 1964.
This year, the focus of World Day of Prayer for Vocations remains on praying for and promoting all vocations, whether they be in ordained ministry, religious life, married life, or single blessedness. It’s a day to recognise the diverse ways individuals are called to serve God and their communities.
